Table Talk with Mitch Landrieu of E Pluribus Unum
Join E Pluribus Unum's Founder and President Mitch Landrieu, the former Mayor of New Orleans and former Senior Advisor to President Biden, for a discussion about continuing the important work of expanding fairness and opportunity in the midst of the changing priorities and attitudes at the national level. The session will focus on how to stay motivated, strengthening alliances, and key considerations as leaders and organizations navigate unprecedented challenges.
E Pluribus Unum is an organization that works with leaders and communities across the American South, equipping them with tools, programs, and support to bridge divides and foster connection across differences.

Film Screening & Panel Discussion of American Coup: Wilmington 1898.
We are hosting a lunchtime film screening and panel discussion of the new PBS / American Experience documentary, American Coup: Wilmington 1898.
This event is open to all conference participants, but we also have space for up to 200 local high school students and teachers to attend the film screening, and thanks to support from CNU’s College of Arts and Humanities, boxed lunches will be provided free of charge to student groups. Space is limited, so if any school/teacher is interested in bringing a group of students or even a whole class, you must sign up as soon as possible. We’ll reach out to you in order to confirm your group’s spot.

Community Art Exhibition
All members of the community are invited to submit artwork for the conference’s Community Art Exhibition. This year’s theme, Elevating Voices, Igniting Change, encourages students to explore justice, identity, resilience, and activism through creative expression. Submissions are accepted in 2D, 3D, and digital formats, with cash prizes awarded to selected artists.
